Year 6 children recently took part in a cookery competition at Yale College, Wrexham as part of Food for Thought Week. They got through to the final and came third in the Primary Schools section. Jason Mohammed a presenter from BBC Wales was one of the judges and he enjoyed tasting their stuffed tomatoes
Well done to the three chefs and a big thank you to Mrs Pickstock for helping them.

During our DT lessons this term we have been designing and making buggies. We finished them today ( Tuesday 9th December) and had some buggy races to see whose buggy was the fastest! We had great fun in the hall and a very close final race. The eventual winner was Jack with Dylan coming a very close second!

Welcome to our web page!
Year 5/6 have had a busy term. Year 6 started the term off by visiting Kingswood Activity Centre in Loggerheads. They had a great time climbing, zip wiring, nightlining and keeping the teachers awake at night!

Year 5 will also have an activity holiday soon when they visit Glan Llyn in the new year.
This half term the class visited the Citadel in Wrexham where they had a chance to learn more about the Salvation Army as part of their RE topic.
We are now busy practicing for the Christmas Carol Service on December 9th and 10th - don’t miss it!!
